Frames can be powder coated which is the environmentally friendly alternative to wet paint. No solvents are used in powder coating. Powder coating is free of heavy metals or other toxic substances and is used 100%; no residue is produced.
As a result, the new owner is assured of a fixed residual value at the end of the use cycle, the furniture is taken back by Casala and reused at the highest possible level.

CHOICE OF MATERIALS
POWDER COATING

UPHOLSTERY
Upholstery options that are produced from 100% recycled threads are available from multiple suppliers. Bonding of the upholstery is avoided as much as possible in order to make disassembly and separation of materials easier after prolonged use of the furniture.
Our soft seating products (sofas and armchairs) are filled with Naturalis foam; a foam where as much fossil oil as possible is replaced with plant castor oil. The moulded foam used by Casala is very resilient and extremely sustainable. There is no sagging and the sitting comfort remains unchanged over the years. This moulded foam is a sustainable material and less harmful to the environment than the widely used standard CMHR cold foam.
Through OutletFurniture we offer surplus Casala furniture. This includes showroom furniture, furniture that is surplus due to ordering or production errors and furniture that has been used for trial purposes. This is new or as good as new furniture used by Casala that has been waiting for a rewarding purpose from a user at a significantly discounted price.
